I build AI systems for a living. Right now that is at Lumapps in Zurich: agents for sales teams and the knowledge graph they read from. Before that I spent six years at Beekeeper, where I rebuilt search for 10 million users, wrote the templating engine behind a large share of the platform's content, and shipped an LLM translation pipeline in six weeks. The pattern is the same each time. Pick the bet, ship the system, watch the number move, then hand it to the team so it keeps working after I leave.

On the side I have founded three companies, and I sit on Tenity's technology panel where I meet early-stage founders. I stop pitches early and ask to see the product. My job there is calibration and next steps, not judgment. Earlier I was founding engineer at Dronistics, an EPFL drone spin-off, and before that I evolved robot bodies and brains with genetic algorithms in an EPFL lab.

Investing became the second track once I had a salary to put to work. I wanted to understand what I owned. That turned into public equities, pre-IPO positions, angel cheques and a fund commitment. I keep a written thesis for each one and note what I got wrong. This site holds both tracks: what I learn building AI systems and what I learn putting money to work.

I grew up in Chennai and have lived in Sweden, the Netherlands and Switzerland since 2014. Home is near Zurich with my wife and two kids. The days that count in my journal are small ones: bath, dinner, a board game, a bike ride with my daughter. I want the person my family gets to be the same one my team gets.
